Alternate-Furnace-Power-Mod-MCPE.jpg

This mod adds in 4 alternative ways to power your furnaces: a Solar Panel, a Reactor, a Biomass Generator and an Ender generator.

Solar Panel:

Spoiler

[Crafting]
A solar panel can be crafted with 6 Iron Ingots and 3 Lapis Lazuli Blocks

[How to use]
Place the Solar Panel on top of a furnace. Click it and select on in the popup GUI. It will now give power to the furnace underneath it

[Help! It doesn’t work!]
Note that the Solar Panel only works in sunlight. It will not work if a block above it (apart from glass) is blocking the sun. Also, it will not work during the night.

Reactor:

Spoiler

[Uranium]
The Reactor is powered by Uranium, which can be optained by mining Uranium Ore, which spawns at the same height and rate as Diamond Ore

[Crafting]
A reactor is crafted with 6 Iron Ingots, 2 Iron Blocks and 1 Uranium

[How to use]
A Reactor can power up to 5 furnaces at the same time. These furnaces need to be directly connected to the Reactor. Once placed down, click the Reactor with Uranium in your hand. It will consume one of them. After that, click the Reactor with anything but Uranium, and select On in the popup menu. The Reactor will now power all the furnaces.

[How long does one Uranium last?]
One Uranium equals 15 Coal Blocks, and can power up to 5 furnaces at a time, so that’s a maximum of 5×15=45 Coal Blocks

[Help! It consumes one fuel per furnace instead of fueling them all at once!]
Make sure you first put the items you want to smelt into all the furnaces, and then turn on the Reactor, and not the other way around

Biomass Generator:

Spoiler

[Crafting]
The Biomass Generator is crafted with 8 Leaves and 1 Sapling

[What fuel does it accept?]
The Biomass Generator accepts anything that’s ‘bio’, such as seeds, sugar cane or saplings.

[How to use]
The Biomass Generator can fuel any furnace next to it, in front of it, or behind it (So that’s 4 furnaces at a time)
One ‘bio’ item equals one Coal, but can power 4 furnaces at the same time for the cost of only one coal.
Fuel it by clicking it with a ‘bio’ item. It can consume up to 15 items at once. Once fueled, click it with a non-‘bio’ item, and select on from the popup menu.

[Help! It consumes one fuel per furnace instead of fueling them all at once!]

Ender Generator:

Spoiler

[Ender Pearls]
You can now optain Ender Pearls by killing ender men. They have a 50% drop chance. You cannot throw the Ender Pearls

[Crafting]
You can craft the Ender Generator with 6 Iron Ingots, 2 Iron Blocks and 1 Ender Pearl.

[How to use]
The Ender Generator can power any furnace that’s in a 3-block radius of it. You can fuel it by clicking it with an Ender Pearl. One Ender Pearl will equal 15 Coal, but the Ender Generator can power up to 7x7x7=343 furnaces at a time!
