TerraFirmaCraft Mod (1.20.1, 1.18.2) is a total conversion mod that revamps and reimagines the survival mode in Minecraft. The goal of the change is to make the experience of surviving in a completely new and immersive environment feel real and hard. It makes significant changes to the way the Minecraft world is generated, including the addition of plate tectonics, flowing rivers, mountain ranges, forests, flora, and fauna that are incredibly varied and diverse. The subterranean environment has been thoroughly rethought, and now features massive, sparse ore deposits of a variety of different metals and minerals spread throughout its many rock layers. A full-fledged technology tree, including everything from pottery and pit kilns to the production of charcoal, the production of iron with a bloomery, and the manufacturing of steel, among other things. Seasons, weather, and a realistic climate and calendar model all contribute to the fact that the player will need to build up their food supply for the upcoming winter. The world is full of living things, including a wide variety of plants, wild crops, wild fruits, and animals, some of which are prey and others of which are predators. Using our in-depth food and cooking mechanics, the player is responsible for keeping track of when their food will expire, how much nutrition it will provide, and how much thirst it will quench.
