Automobility is a vehicle mod that lets you build, customize, and drive your own automobiles (small cars and karts). Instead of one fixed vehicle, you assemble a car from separate, interchangeable parts and mix them to create hundreds of combinations, then drive it around your world, race friends, and build tracks with special road blocks.

The Auto Mechanic Table is the workstation where you craft parts and assemble a complete automobile.

• Open the Auto Mechanic Table to craft car parts from materials.
• A finished automobile is made of three core components snapped together: a Frame, a set of Wheels, and an Engine.
• Because the three parts are interchangeable, you can build anything from a slow wooden tractor to a fast diamond-powered racer.
• Combine your chosen frame, wheels, and engine to produce a complete, placeable automobile.

The Frame is the body of the car and sets its overall look, weight, and much of its handling.

• Standard frames come in every dye color for a classic car body.
• Tractor frames have large rear wheels and a farm look.
• Motorcar frames (wooden, copper, steel, golden, bejeweled) are longer and sleeker.
• Fun frames include the Shopping Cart, Rickshaw, and Pineapple. Each frame shape changes the car's proportions, seat positions, and where attachments mount.

Wheels affect grip, ride height, and how the car handles terrain.

• Standard and Steel wheels are all-round road wheels.
• Off-Road wheels give better grip on rough ground.
• Tractor wheels are large for a farm build.
• Carriage wheels give an old-fashioned look. Bigger wheels raise the car's ride height and change its feel.

The Engine determines top speed and acceleration.

• Stone and Iron engines are basic starters.
• Copper, Gold, and Diamond engines are progressively faster and accelerate harder.
• The Creative engine is the fastest of all. A running engine emits exhaust smoke; a better engine turns your build into a real racer.

Sit in your automobile and drive it like a kart.

• Use your normal movement controls to accelerate, brake, and steer.
• Hold a drift while turning to build up a turbo charge; release to get a speed boost. Chaining drifts and boosts lets skilled drivers go much faster.
• Cars kick up skid effects and exhaust smoke while driving, and each frame has its own horn sound.
• Handling depends on the parts you chose, so tune your car for speed or for cornering.

Bolt extra attachments onto the front or back of your car to change what it does.

Rear attachments:

• Chest – mobile storage you can drive around.
• Passenger Seat – give a friend a ride.
• Plow, Grindstone, Stonecutter, and a Block attachment.
• Banner Post – fly your banner from the back of the car.

Front attachments:

• Mob Controller, Autopilot, and a Harvester / Grass Cutter for farming while you drive.

Automobility adds blocks for building race tracks and stunt courses.

• Dash Panels give your car a burst of speed when you drive over them.
• Slopes and Steep Slopes act as ramps.
• Off-Road blocks (grass, sand, and snow variants) change traction.
• Launch Gel flings your car into the air. Combine these to build race tracks, obstacle courses, and stunt arenas.

• Match parts to the job: off-road wheels for rough terrain, a strong engine for racing.
• Master drifting: drift into corners and release the boost on the straight for the best lap times.
• Use a chest attachment to haul items on long trips.
• Build a track with dash panels and slopes to race friends.
• Decorate with a colored frame and a banner post to show off your style.

How do I make a car? Craft parts at the Auto Mechanic Table, then combine a frame, wheels, and an engine into a complete automobile.

How do I drive? Sit in the car and use your normal movement keys to accelerate and steer; hold a drift while turning to build a boost.

Can I carry items? Yes — add a Chest rear attachment for mobile storage, or a Passenger Seat to carry a friend.

How do I go faster? Use a better engine (up to Diamond or Creative), drive over Dash Panels, and chain drifts into boosts.

Can I build a race track? Yes — use Dash Panels, Slopes, Off-Road blocks, and Launch Gel to build tracks and stunt courses.
