Overview#
Gany's End is a mod designed to make the End dimension more useful and rewarding. It introduces Endium, a high-tier material found only in the End, which allows for the creation of tools and armor with unique teleportation properties. The mod also focuses heavily on automation and utility, providing various types of Filtering Hoppers, a Void Chest for item disposal, and the Time Manipulator for controlling the world's day/night cycle. Additionally, it adds decorative blocks like End Walls and End Bricks to expand the building palette using End-themed materials.

Filtering Hoppers
Gany's End adds several specialized hoppers to improve item logistics:
- Basic Filtering Hopper: Features a single filter slot. It will only pull or push items that match the filter.
- Advanced Filtering Hopper: Features five filter slots for more complex sorting.
- Speedy Filtering Hopper: Moves items significantly faster than a standard hopper.
- Extraction Hopper: Specifically designed to pull items from the container above it, even if that container doesn't normally output to hoppers.
- Vacuum Hopper: Sucks up item entities from the world in a small radius around it.
- Bounce Hopper: If the destination container is full, it "bounces" the item back to the source or drops it.
Decorative Blocks
- End Stone Bricks: A refined version of End Stone, providing a cleaner look for End-based structures.
- End Walls: Decorative walls made from End Stone or End Stone Bricks.
- Enderman Head: A rare drop from Endermen that can be placed as a block or worn as a helmet.
Items#
Endium Equipment
Endium tools and armor are the primary progression path in the mod.

Utility Items
- Ender Bag: A portable access point to the player's Ender Chest inventory. Right-clicking opens the Ender Chest GUI from anywhere.
- Ender Pearl Fragment: Dropped by Ender Flowers. Nine fragments can be crafted into a single Ender Pearl.
- Enderman Head: When worn, it prevents Endermen from becoming hostile when the player looks at them.
- Infinite Water Source: A single block that acts as an infinite water source, preventing the need for 2x2 water pools.
Mechanics#
Endium Tool Linking
The most powerful feature of Endium tools (Pickaxe, Shovel, Axe, and Sword) is the ability to teleport drops directly to a container.
- Place a chest (or any container) in the world.
- Shift-Right Click the container with an Endium tool.
- Any block mined or mob killed with that tool will have its drops instantly teleported into that chest, regardless of distance or dimension.
Ender Flower Farming
Ender Flowers are the mod's way of making Ender Pearls renewable without a mob farm. They naturally generate on End Stone in the End. Players can break them to get fragments and occasionally seeds. These seeds can be planted on End Stone in the Overworld to grow more flowers. They require a low light level to grow effectively, mimicking the environment of the End.
The Ender Altar
The Ender Altar is used for "Infusion." By placing specific items on the altar and providing Ender energy (usually via Ender Pearls or Endium), players can craft rare items like the Dragon Egg or the Infinite Water Source. It is also the key component in the ritual to respawn the Ender Dragon.
World Generation#
Gany's End modifies the End dimension by adding:
- Endium Ore: Generates at the lower levels of the End islands (Y-levels 0-20). It is relatively rare and often requires the player to bridge under the islands to find it.
- Ender Flowers: Found scattered across the surface of End Stone islands. They emit a faint purple particle effect.
- End Structures: Small decorative pillars or ruins made of End Stone Bricks may occasionally appear.
Configuration#
The mod includes an extensive configuration file (ganys_end.cfg) allowing players to:
- Toggle the generation of Endium Ore and Ender Flowers.
- Adjust the spawn rate of Endium Ore.
- Enable or disable specific blocks like the Void Chest or Time Manipulator.
- Configure the "Void Immunity" of Endium Armor.
- Enable integration features with other "Gany's Mods" (Surface and Nether).
