Mystical Agriculture Mod Wiki

Mystical Agriculture is a complete rewrite of the classic 'Magical Crops' mod, designed to allow players to automate the production of almost any resource in the game through farming. By mining unique ores and processing them into magical essences, players can craft seeds for everything from Iron and Diamonds to specialized mob drops like Wither Skeleton Skulls.

The mod's progression is strictly tiered, requiring players to start with basic Inferium and work their way up to Awakened Supremium. Along the way, players can craft powerful tools, armor with flight capabilities, and machines that automate the entire agricultural process.

To begin your journey into mystical farming, you must first locate two essential ores found in the Overworld, Nether, and End:

1. Prosperity Ore: Drops Prosperity Shards, used to create Seed Bases.
2. Inferium Ore: Drops Inferium Essence, the primary currency for all crafting in the mod.

Your First Seeds

Your first goal is to craft Inferium Seeds. These are created by surrounding a Prosperity Seed Base with Inferium Essence in a standard crafting table. Planting these seeds on farmland will yield more Inferium Essence, allowing you to upgrade your materials to higher tiers.

Essence Upgrading

Essence is upgraded using an Infusion Crystal. By combining four of one tier's essence with an Infusion Crystal, you receive one essence of the next tier.

Mystical Agriculture adds a variety of functional blocks to enhance crop growth and facilitate advanced crafting.

Essence Farmland

While seeds can grow on vanilla farmland, Essence Farmland significantly increases the yield of Inferium Essence and the chance of getting a second seed drop.

• Inferium Farmland: +50% Essence yield.
• Prudentium Farmland: +100% Essence yield.
• Tertium Farmland: +150% Essence yield.
• Imperium Farmland: +200% Essence yield.
• Supremium Farmland: +250% Essence yield.
• Awakened Supremium Farmland: +300% Essence yield and 100% secondary seed drop chance for all tiers.

Growth Accelerators

Growth Accelerators are blocks placed directly beneath farmland to speed up the growth of the crop above. They can be stacked vertically to multiply their effect.

Crafting Altars

• Infusion Altar: The core of the mod. Used with 8 Infusion Pedestals to craft most resource seeds and gear.
• Awakening Altar: Used with Awakening Pedestals and Essence Vessels to create Awakened Supremium items. Requires Cognizant Dust and elemental essences (Air, Earth, Fire, Water).

Utility Blocks

• Soulstone: Found in the Nether; used for crafting Soul Jars and decorative blocks.
• Witherproof Blocks: Highly resistant blocks (Glass and Bricks) that cannot be destroyed by the Wither's explosions.

Infusion Crystals

• Infusion Crystal: Has 1,000 durability. Used to upgrade essence tiers.
• Master Infusion Crystal: Has infinite durability. An essential mid-to-late game goal.

Watering Cans

Watering Cans increase the growth speed of crops in an area. Higher tiers have a larger area of effect and can be toggled to 'Auto-Water' mode by shift-right-clicking in the air.

Essence Gear

Tools and Armor can be crafted from each essence tier.

• Armor: Higher tiers provide more protection. A full set of Supremium armor grants the wearer creative-style flight.
• Sickles & Scythes: Used to harvest crops in a large area (3x3 to 9x9 depending on tier).
• Soulium Dagger: Used to collect mob souls. Killing a mob with this dagger fills a Soul Jar in your inventory.

Augments

Augments are special items that can be applied to Supremium and Awakened Supremium gear at a Tinkering Table to grant permanent buffs like Night Vision, Wither Resistance, or Speed.

Infusion Crafting

To perform an infusion, place the central item (usually a Seed Base) on the Infusion Altar. Place the surrounding ingredients on the 8 Infusion Pedestals. Right-click the Altar with a Wand or provide a Redstone signal to begin the process.

Soul Siphoning

Mob seeds require Soul Jars filled with the souls of that specific mob.

1. Craft a Soul Jar.
2. Kill the target mob (e.g., a Creeper) with a Soulium Dagger.
3. Each kill adds a portion of a soul to the jar. Once full, the jar can be used in an Infusion Altar to craft the mob's seed.

Awakening

Awakening is the highest tier of crafting. It requires the Awakening Altar surrounded by 4 Awakening Pedestals and 4 Essence Vessels. The vessels must be filled with elemental essences (Air, Earth, Fire, Water) while the pedestals hold the physical ingredients. This process is required to create Awakened Supremium.

Mystical Agriculture includes several machines to automate and optimize your resource production. All machines can be upgraded with Machine Upgrades (Inferium through Supremium) to increase speed and energy efficiency.

• Seed Reprocessor: Converts unwanted seeds back into their respective essence. For example, putting a Diamond Seed in will return Diamond Essence.
• Harvester: Automatically harvests crops in a 3x3 area in front of it. It does not break the plant, only collects the drops.
• Soul Extractor: Converts standard mob drops (like Rotten Flesh or Bones) into mob souls, providing an alternative to manual hunting with a Soulium Dagger.
• Ore Infuser: Uses energy to infuse Resource Essences with Stone to create the physical ore blocks.
• Soulium Spawner: Uses mob souls to spawn mobs, effectively acting as a customizable mob spawner.
• Enchanter: Uses essence to apply enchantments to tools, armor, or books.

The mod adds two unique enchantments that can be applied to tools and weapons:

1. Soul Siphoning: Applied to the Soulium Dagger. Increases the amount of souls collected per kill by 10% per level (up to Level V).
2. Mystical Enlightenment: Applied to any weapon. Increases the amount of Experience Droplets dropped by mobs when killed.
