Overview#
Divine RPG is one of the most expansive mods in Minecraft history, focusing on RPG-style progression through multiple dimensions. Players begin in the Overworld, mining new ores like Realmite and Arlemite, before venturing into the Twilight dimensions, the frozen wastes of Iceika, the dungeon-filled Arcana, and the nightmare realm of Vethea. The mod introduces a strict progression path where equipment from one dimension is often required to survive the next.
Core Progression Path
- Overworld: Mine Realmite and Arlemite. Defeat the Ancient Entity and The Watcher.
- Twilight Realms: Progress through Eden, Wildwood, Apalachia, Skythern, and Mortum in order.
- Iceika: A side dimension for frost-themed gear and the Kar-OT boss.
- Arcana: A magic-focused dimension with complex dungeons and the Lord of Arcana.
- Vethea: The final challenge, a dream world where you start with nothing and must climb through four layers of nightmares.
Dimensions#
Divine RPG adds eight primary dimensions, each with unique blocks, mobs, and bosses.
The Twilight Realms
The Twilight is a series of five sub-dimensions. To enter, you must build a portal frame out of Divine Rock and ignite it with a Twilight Clock. Each subsequent dimension requires a portal made from the blocks of the previous realm.

Iceika
A frozen wasteland accessible via a portal made of Snow Blocks and ignited with a Snowglobe. It features massive ice trees and frost-resistant mobs. The primary currency here is Snowflakes, used to trade with Workshop Merchants.
Arcana
A dimension consisting of floating islands and massive dungeons. It uses a unique Mana system for weapons. Players must find a Dungeon Constructor in the Overworld to trade for the portal blocks.
Vethea
The most unique dimension, entered by sleeping in a Bed after using Dream Powder. You cannot bring items into Vethea; you start with an empty inventory and must craft everything from resources found within its four layers.
Mobs and Bosses#
Divine RPG populates its worlds with a vast array of creatures. Mobs are generally much stronger than vanilla counterparts.

- The Eye: A flying Nether mob that shoots fireballs.
- Wildwood Golem: A high-health tank found in the Wildwood dimension.

- Cave Crawler: Found in Overworld caves, drops Realmite Ore.
Equipment and Tiering#
Armor and weapons in Divine RPG follow a strict power curve. Vanilla Diamond armor is considered "early-game" in this mod.

Weapons
Divine RPG introduces several new weapon classes:
- Swords: Standard melee, ranging from the Rupee Rapier to the Halite Blade.
- Bows: Use specialized arrows; some have infinite durability but require high-tier materials.
- Cannons: Heavy ranged weapons that use explosive ammunition.
- Staffs: Used primarily in Arcana, consuming Mana to fire magical projectiles.
- Shurikens/Chakrams: Throwable weapons that often return to the player or stack in high quantities.
Blocks and Ores#
The mod adds dozens of ores that generate across different dimensions.
Overworld Ores
- Realmite Ore: Found at low levels. Used for mid-tier armor and tools.
- Arlemite Ore: Rarer than Realmite. Essential for high-tier Overworld gear.
- Rupee Ore: The rarest Overworld ore, used for the strongest non-dimension gear.
Dimension Blocks
- Divine Rock: The base block for the Twilight Portal.
- Dream Stone: Found in Vethea, used for various crafting recipes within the dream realm.
- Arcana Portal Frame: Purchased from Lord Vatticus to access the Arcana dimension.
Mechanics#
Mana System
In the Arcana dimension, many weapons require Mana to function. Mana is displayed as a bar above the hunger bar and regenerates over time. Certain armor sets and accessories can increase the regeneration rate or maximum Mana capacity.
The Dream System
When entering Vethea, your physical body stays in the Overworld while your consciousness travels. Any items gained in Vethea stay in Vethea, and you cannot bring outside items in. This creates a "mod within a mod" experience where progression is entirely self-contained.
Trading and Currency
Many dimensions feature NPCs (like the Workshop Merchant in Iceika or Lord Vatticus in Arcana) who do not use Emeralds. Instead, they trade for:
- Snowflakes: Dropped by Iceika mobs.
- Arcana Tokens: Found in Arcana chests.
- Twilight Fragments: Dropped by Twilight mobs.
