Overview#
The Super Heroes Mod, also known as Super Heroes in Minecraft (SHIM), is a modification for Minecraft created by Colossali. This mod enriches the game by introducing a variety of superheroes and supervillains, along with their iconic suits and associated blocks. It is distinct from other superhero-themed mods like the Superheroes Unlimited Mod. The mod was updated to support Minecraft versions 1.7.2 and up, requiring a core mod for proper functionality.

Mechanics and Development#
The Super Heroes Mod requires a core mod for versions 1.7.2 and above to function correctly.
Colossali, the creator of the Super Heroes Mod, has also developed other related modifications, including Super Villains in Minecraft (SVIM), a Spider-Man mod, and a Batman mod (which was a work in progress).
Future updates for the Super Heroes Mod were planned to include additional heroes such as Wolverine, Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, Spider-Man, and more Avengers.
