Overview#
Mystical Adaptations is a specialized addon designed to bridge the gap in end-game content for the Mystical Agriculture ecosystem. While base mods introduce Insanium as a crafting material, Mystical Adaptations fully realizes this tier by adding a complete suite of Insanium-grade equipment, high-efficiency machinery, and unique utility items.
The mod focuses on providing "Tier 6" upgrades for players who have mastered Supremium technology. It introduces the Insanium Armor set, a wide array of Insanium Tools, and advanced versions of functional blocks like the Seed Reprocessor and Furnace. Additionally, it adds unique mechanics such as the Seed Extractor and specialized Augments for deep mod compatibility.
Items#
The mod adds several key items used for crafting and utility. Most items are centered around the Insanium tier, which is the sixth and highest tier of essence.
Crafting Materials
- Insanium Essence: The core component for all Tier 6 recipes. It is typically crafted by combining four Supremium Essences with an Infusion Crystal.
- Insanium Ingot: Used for forging tools and armor. Created by surrounding a Prosperity Ingot with Insanium Essence.
- Insanium Gemstone: A high-tier gemstone used for advanced crafting, particularly for armor cores.
- Insanium Nuggets: Smaller divisions of the ingot used for precise crafting recipes.
Consumables
- Insanium Apple: An ultimate food item that provides high saturation and powerful status effects upon consumption. It is an upgrade over the Supremium Apple.
Specialized Tools
- Seed Extractor: A unique utility tool. When used on a block (like a Copper Block), it consumes the block and drops a corresponding seed (e.g., Copper Seed). It can also be used on mobs to extract their essence into seed form.
Armor#
Insanium Armor represents the pinnacle of protection. It is crafted by upgrading Supremium Armor using Insanium Ingots and Armor Cores in an Infusion Altar.

Set Bonuses and Abilities
- Full Set Bonus: Wearing a full set of Insanium Armor grants the player Creative Flight (configurable) and immunity to various environmental hazards.
- Augment Slots: Each piece of armor can be fitted with Tier 6 Augments, allowing for customization such as health boosts, speed, or specialized resistances.
- Durability: Insanium armor has extremely high durability, making it nearly indestructible in standard combat scenarios.

Insanium tools provide unmatched efficiency and combat power. Many tools feature special abilities that trigger on use.

- Insanium Watering Can: Features a massive 9x9 area of effect and the highest growth acceleration rate.
- Insanium Shears: Infinite durability and instant shearing.
- Insanium Fishing Rod: Increased luck and faster lure times.
- Insanium Sickle: Used for clearing large areas of foliage or harvesting crops in a wide radius.
Blocks#
The mod introduces high-tier machinery and storage blocks to streamline resource production.
Functional Blocks
- Insanium Furnace: The fastest furnace in the mod, capable of smelting items almost instantaneously with high fuel efficiency.
- Insanium Seed Reprocessor: An advanced machine that breaks down seeds back into essence with 100% efficiency and extreme speed.
- Insanium Growth Accelerator: When placed under farmland, it provides the maximum possible growth boost to the crop above. It has a vertical range of up to 64 blocks, allowing for massive stacking.
Storage Blocks
- Block of Insanium: A compact storage form for Insanium Essence, also used as a beacon base or for high-tier crafting.
- Utility Blocks: The mod can be configured to add blocks for Nether Stars, Silicon, and HOP Graphite to assist in automation and storage.
Mechanics and Augments#
Mystical Adaptations expands the Augment system, providing Tier 6 versions of existing buffs and new unique effects.
New Augments
- Absorption VI: Grants a significant number of permanent absorption hearts.
- Health Boost VI: Drastically increases the player's maximum health.
- Mining AOE V: Allows tools to mine in a massive 11x11 or larger area.
- Hungerless: Completely removes the need for the player to eat while the augment is equipped.
- Attack AOE IV: Increases the sweep attack range and damage of weapons.
Mod Compatibility
- Vampirism: Includes the Daywalker Augment (allows vampires to survive in sunlight) and the Thirstless Augment (removes blood dependency).
- Tinkers' Construct: Adds Insanium as a material for tool parts, providing the "Insane" trait which boosts stats based on the number of Insanium parts used.
Recipes#
Most recipes in Mystical Adaptations utilize the Infusion Altar from Mystical Agriculture.
- Insanium Gear: Place a Supremium tool or armor piece in the center of the altar. Surround it with Insanium Ingots and the appropriate Tier 6 Crafting Seed or Core.
- Essence Conversion: 4x Supremium Essence + 1x Infusion Crystal (in a crafting table) = 1x Insanium Essence.
- Seed Extraction: The Seed Extractor is crafted using a combination of Supremium Ingots and a specialized core, allowing players to bypass traditional seed crafting for certain resources.
