Rapid Leaf Decay Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Realistic Decaying

Rapid Leaf Decay Mod is a simple mod that significantly increases the decay speed of leaves from chopped trees. Additionally, through a configuration file, you can adjust the interval between the stages of leaf block disappearance.

Features:

• Rapid leaf decay:
  • After you chop down all the wood (logs) of a tree, the leaves will decay immediately or within a few seconds, instead of taking minutes as in vanilla Minecraft. This makes tree harvesting much faster.
  • Supports all vanilla tree types (such as oak, birch, spruce) and leaves from other mods as long as they have the leaves tag (e.g., from Biomes O’ Plenty or Terrestria).
• Wide compatibility with mods and block tags:
  • The mod automatically detects and applies to all leaf blocks with the minecraft:leaves tag. No additional configuration is needed for mod compatibility.
• Customizable configuration:
  • The config file is located at serverconfig/rapid_leaf_decay-server.toml (in the world folder), allowing you to adjust decay speed, delay time, or other options if needed (default is rapid decay without requiring adjustments).
• Multiplayer and server-side support:
  • Only needs to be installed on the server; clients do not require the mod to see the effects.
  • Maintains the original drop rates for items from leaves (such as saplings, apples, sticks), with no impact on tree farms (unless using automated farms that manually break leaves).
