Overview#
Pixel Powers is a specialized modification designed to integrate role-playing elements and class-based abilities into Minecraft. While intended for use alongside the MineLittlePony mod, it functions as a standalone experience, granting players access to unique racial archetypes: Earth Ponies, Pegasi, Unicorns, and Alicorns. Each class features distinct survival advantages, from flight and cloud manipulation to advanced enchanting and agricultural mastery.

Races and Classes#
The mod divides player abilities into four primary classes. Your chosen class determines your interaction with the world, your mana pool, and your movement capabilities.
Earth Pony
Earth Ponies focus on physical strength and stamina. They are the masters of the land, capable of harvesting resources more efficiently and utilizing the unique Hay mechanics of the mod to create sustainable food and bedding sources.
Pegasus
Pegasi are masters of the sky. They possess the innate ability to fly (consuming mana) and can walk on Cloud blocks without falling through. They are the only class capable of gathering Water Vapor directly from the environment.
Unicorn
Unicorns are the primary magic users. They utilize a mana bar to perform special actions, most notably the ability to enchant Feather Talismans at an Enchanting Table. Their powers are focused on utility and item manipulation.
Alicorn
Alicorns (Generalists) possess the combined abilities of all other classes. They have the largest mana pools and can perform any special action, including flight, cloud walking, and enchanting.
Core Mechanics#
Mana System
A mana bar is added to the player's HUD. Mana is consumed when performing class-specific abilities such as flight or enchanting. It regenerates slowly over time, though certain items or classes may influence the regeneration rate.
Special Actions
Most of the mod's unique interactions are performed using the SpecialAction + Attack key combination (default keys vary by configuration, often mapped to 'F' or 'X' + Left Click).
- Gathering Vapor: Pegasi can gather Water Vapor by pressing SpecialAction + Attack near still water with empty hands.
- Enchanting: Unicorns and Alicorns can enchant a Baked Feather Talisman by pressing SpecialAction + Attack while looking at an Enchanting Table (requires sufficient mana).
- Coloring Vapor: Pressing SpecialAction + Attack on specific blocks in the world allows players to obtain different colors of Water Vapor.
Blocks#
Cloud Blocks
Clouds are tiered blocks that Pegasi can walk on. Other classes will fall through them unless they are equipped with an Enchanted Feather Talisman.
| Block Name | Tier | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Light Cloud | 1 | The basic cloud block, crafted from Water Vapor. |
| Dense Cloud | 2 | A thicker cloud variant with higher durability. |
| Storm Cloud | 3 | The highest tier, used to craft the Cloud Crafting Bench. |
Hay and Grass
- Grass: Obtained by left-clicking on grass blocks. It can be dried into Loose Hay.
- Loose Hay: Created by placing Grass on sand in a desert biome, or on stone directly above lava. It can be crafted into Hay Blocks.
- Hay Block/Bail: Used for decoration or as a component for specialized beds.
Cloud Crafting Bench
Crafted from 4 Storm Clouds, this specialized workbench is required for high-tier cloud-based recipes and decorative cloud furniture.
Items#
Feather Talismans
The Feather Talisman is a critical utility item for non-flying classes.
- Unbaked Feather Talisman: The raw form, crafted from clay and feathers.
- Baked Feather Talisman: Obtained by smelting the unbaked version in a furnace.
- Enchanted Feather Talisman: Created by a Unicorn/Alicorn at an Enchanting Table. When held or worn, it allows any class to walk on Cloud blocks.
- Wearable Enchanted Feather Talisman: A version combined with string that can be equipped in the armor slot.
Water Vapor
Obtained by Pegasi from water sources. It serves as the primary crafting ingredient for all cloud-related blocks and furniture.
Flowers and Dyes
The mod adds several unique flowers used for advanced dye crafting:
- Daffodil, Carnation, Poison Joke, Black Rose, Tulip, Lavender, Gray Ghost, Fern.

Tips and Tricks#
- Hay Harvesting: Loose hay can be harvested extremely quickly by using a bucket of water to wash it up.
- Drying Hay: If you pick up Loose Hay before it is fully dry, simply place it back down on sand (Desert) or stone (over Lava) to continue the process.
- Cloud Bases: Building a base out of Cloud blocks is an excellent way to stay safe from land-dwelling mobs, as they will fall through the floor while you (as a Pegasus or Talisman-user) remain safe.
- Fruit Trees: Breaking the foliage of Apple or Cherry trees has a chance to drop Fruit Tree Saplings, allowing you to start your own orchard.
