Decocraft is a decoration mod that adds over 3000 decorative blocks and items to Minecraft, giving you everything you need to turn a bare shell of a build into a fully furnished, lived-in home. Instead of a handful of extra blocks, it delivers complete sets of furniture, appliances, food, plants and props that cover every room of a house and many outdoor spaces as well.

Every decoration is placed and rotated just like a normal block, so furnishing a room is quick and intuitive. Most pieces can also be recoloured and resized, which means the same sofa or table can be tuned to match any interior style, from a cosy cabin to a modern apartment.

Decocraft groups its huge catalogue into themed sets so you can furnish an entire room from one place:

• Living room - sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, floor lamps, televisions and grandfather clocks.
• Bedroom - beds and bedding sets, nightstands, dressers and wardrobes.
• Kitchen - counters, cabinets, fridges, ovens, brick pizza ovens and small appliances.
• Bathroom - toilets, bathtubs, sinks and mirrors.
• Food and tableware - plates of food, dishes, drinks and kitchen props.
• Plants and seasonal - potted plants, small trees and holiday decorations such as lit Christmas trees.

Many pieces come in a range of materials and colours out of the box, and the catalogue is deep enough to decorate anything from a single bedroom to a fully themed build.

Decocraft adds a few special tools that let you craft and personalise its decorations:

• Decobench - the main crafting station for Decocraft. Place one down and use it to craft the mod's furniture and props from base materials.
• Paint Brush - a tool used to dye and recolour decorations quickly, so you can match a piece to your room's colour scheme.
• Decomposer - breaks decorations back down into their base materials, which is handy if you change your mind or want to reclaim resources.

Between these tools you can craft a piece, colour it, resize it and, if needed, recycle it - all without leaving your build.

1. Craft and place a Decobench to open the Decocraft crafting interface.
2. Craft the furniture or decoration you want from the available materials.
3. Place the decoration in the world and rotate it to face the direction you like, exactly as you would a normal block.
4. Use the Paint Brush to dye a piece a different colour, and resize pieces where supported to fit the space.
5. If you want to remove a decoration and get materials back, place it into the Decomposer.

Because everything behaves like a standard block, you can decorate freely, mix sets between rooms and rearrange a space as often as you like.

• Build the room's shell first, then furnish it - it is much easier to place furniture against finished walls and floors.
• Recolour a few key pieces with the Paint Brush to tie a room together around one accent colour.
• Mix furniture sets rather than sticking to one; a kitchen counter next to a living-room sofa reads as a real open-plan home.
• Use potted plants and food items as finishing touches to make a room feel occupied rather than staged.
• Keep a Decomposer nearby while decorating so you can quickly undo and reclaim materials while you experiment with a layout.
