Overview#
CoffeeCraft is an immersive culinary and decoration mod designed for players who want to establish a professional coffeehouse within Minecraft. The mod introduces a complete production chain from farming wild coffee bushes to serving complex beverages like Lattes and Cappuccinos. Beyond the food and drink, it provides a suite of 37 decorative blocks, including display cases, cafe furniture, and custom wallpapers, allowing for high-detail shop builds. Players can also utilize a specialized Guide Book to track the dozens of new recipes added by the mod.
Flora and Farming#
The mod adds four new plant types that generate naturally across the overworld. These plants serve as the primary source of ingredients for the coffee-making process.
- Coffee Bushes: These plants generate naturally in Jungle biomes. When harvested, they drop Coffee Cherries, which can be processed into beans or replanted to start a plantation.
- Tea Plants: These generate in various temperate biomes and provide the base for tea-based beverages.
- Growth Mechanics: Coffee bushes can be cultivated like standard crops. Once mature, they can be harvested for cherries. In some versions, they can be bonemealed to accelerate growth stages.
Tools and Equipment#
To run a successful cafe, players must craft several specialized tools. Most of these tools have a durability of 200 uses and cannot be enchanted.

Caffeine System
Consuming any coffee-based beverage grants the player the Swiftness (Speed) effect. Higher-tier drinks like Lattes may provide longer durations or stronger versions of the effect. This mechanic is designed to provide a functional benefit to maintaining a coffee supply during exploration or building.
Tool Durability
Unlike vanilla kitchen-style mods where tools are often infinite, CoffeeCraft implements a durability system. Tools like the Egg Beater and Mixing Bowl have a set durability of 200 uses. Once the durability is depleted, the tool breaks and must be recrafted.
Brewing Process
Brewing is not instantaneous. Machines like the Espresso Percolator require specific inputs (Water and Ground Coffee) and a brief processing time to output the final beverage. Some machines may consume the container (like a bucket) depending on the specific version and configuration of the mod.
