TFC Hot Or Not Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Can’t Hold Hot Items with Bare Hands

TFC Hot Or Not Mod adds new dangers to the temperature system in TerraFirmaCraft. You can no longer hold items that are extremely hot or cold without consequences. For example, trying to carry a lava bucket with your bare hands will burn you and can set you on fire. Touching freezing items will slow you down and make you weak. To handle these objects safely, you must use insulating gear like tongs or mittens.

Features:

• Handle With Care: Holding items that are too hot will burn you and can even set you on fire.
• Warning Messages: Items will show a tooltip like “Too Hot” or “Too Cold” so you know if they are dangerous to touch.
• Chilling Effects: Picking up something freezing will slow you down and make you weaker for a short time.
• Protect Your Hands: You can use insulating items like mittens or tongs in your off-hand to hold hot or cold things safely.
• Protective Gear Wears Down: Insulating items have durability and will take damage as you use them, eventually breaking.
• Automatic Drop: If you hold a dangerous item without protection, you might automatically throw it on the ground.
• Melting Items: If an item gets hot enough, it can melt. It might turn into a puddle on the floor or become a completely new item.
• Gaseous Items: Some special items are gassy and will make you float with a levitation effect when you hold them.
