End cities are the only real structure found in the End dimension. But they have not received any update and have remained the same for a very long time. Better End Cities Vanilla Mod aims to improve the end city fortresses to give them a much more detailed and majestic appearance. With this mod installed, you will notice that End fortresses look a lot more like castles. While the base shape of the structure remains the same, the design elements have been overhauled.
