Cosmic Armory is a specialized technology and equipment mod for Minecraft that introduces "Magical Technology from the Stars." Unlike standard equipment mods, Cosmic Armory focuses on a progression system involving passive resource collection, celestial metallurgy, and high-tier artifact crafting. Players can harness the power of meteorites, comets, and the very bedrock of the world to create tools and armor that grant abilities such as creative-style flight, 3x3 mining, and elemental combat.

The mod revolves around three primary celestial materials, each with distinct properties and acquisition methods.

Material Comparison Table

Meteorite

Meteorite blocks spawn naturally throughout the overworld. They appear as dark, rocky clusters and require a Diamond Pickaxe or higher to mine. Once harvested, they can be processed into Meteorite Ingots.

Dense Steel

Dense Steel is the pinnacle of durability. It is produced by processing Dense Rock, which is obtained exclusively through the Bedrock Miner. When crafted into armor, it provides immense protection at the cost of mobility.

Comet Tail

Comet Tail is a lightweight, high-energy material. It is acquired as Comet Tail Dust from the Solar Dust Collector. Tools made from this material are among the fastest in the game, though they break easily. Full sets of Comet Tail armor grant the wearer significant movement speed increases.

Cosmic Armory features several passive and active machines used to process celestial materials. These machines do not require traditional RF/FE power, instead relying on specific placement or unique fuel sources.

Cosmic Furnace

The Cosmic Furnace is a dual-input alloy machine. It features two input slots, one fuel slot, and one output slot.

• Fuel: It does not use coal. Instead, it consumes "blue and shiny" items such as Diamonds, Ender Pearls, or Lapis Lazuli.
• Function: Used to alloy celestial dusts/rocks with Iron Ingots to create Meteorite, Dense Steel, and Comet Tail Ingots.

Bedrock Miner

A passive resource collector used to obtain Dense Rock.

• Operation: Must be placed directly on Bedrock (typically at Y=0). Over time, it will automatically generate Dense Rock shards.

Solar Dust Collector

A passive machine that gathers atmospheric particles.

• Operation: Can be placed anywhere with sky access. It slowly collects Comet Tail Dust, Packed Ice, Blaze Powder, and Glowstone Dust.

Cosmic Compressor

A specialized crafting machine used to condense materials. It functions similarly to a furnace but does not require fuel; it simply processes specific items into their "Dense" or "Compressed" forms over time.

Astral Well

A utility block that acts as an infinite water source. It can be pumped from or used manually with buckets.

Beyond standard toolsets, the mod adds several "Godly" tier items with unique abilities.

Special Items & Gemstones

• Cosmic Gemstone: Crafted in the Cosmic Forge using a Diamond and Comet Tail Dust.
• Enigmatic Heart: A dangerous artifact. Right-clicking with an Empty Heart in hand will transform it into an Enigmatic Heart, but will instantly kill the player.
• Galactic Nucleus: A rare crafting component used for the highest-tier gear.

Standard Sets

• Meteorite Armor: Provides Fire Resistance when the full set is worn.
• Dense Steel Armor: Provides the highest armor toughness and knockback resistance.
• Comet Tail Armor: Provides a permanent Speed II effect when the full set is worn.

Godly Armor (Creative Flight)

The ultimate goal of the mod is the Godly Armor set. Wearing the full set grants the player Creative Flight in Survival mode and emits cosmic particle effects.

The Set Pieces:

1. Galaxy Crown (Helmet)
2. Cascading Chestplate (Chestplate)
3. Universal Striders (Leggings)
4. Plane Lockers (Boots)

Crafting Process: To craft these, you must first create "Shells" by surrounding a Dense Steel armor piece with Meteorite Ingots in a crafting table. This Shell must then be smelted in the Cosmic Forge alongside a Comet Tail armor piece of the same type.

The mod introduces a unique enchantment for defensive play:

• Nova Shield: This enchantment can be applied to shields and armor. It functions similarly to the Thorns enchantment, but instead of dealing direct damage to attackers, it sets them on fire.

Getting Started

1. Resource Gathering: Early game requires building a Solar Dust Collector for Comet Tail Dust or finding a Meteorite cluster in the world.
2. Bedrock Mining: Craft a Bedrock Miner and travel to the bottom of the world. Place it on bedrock to begin collecting Dense Rock.
3. Alloying: Craft a Cosmic Forge. Use blue items (Lapis, Diamonds) as fuel to smelt your raw celestial materials with Iron Ingots to create usable metal bars.
4. Compression: Use the Cosmic Compressor to refine your ingots into denser forms required for the Titan Hammer and Godly Armor.

Configuration

The mod's behavior can be adjusted via the cosmicarmory.cfg file located in the /config folder. Options typically include:

• Machine Speed: Adjust how quickly the Bedrock Miner and Solar Dust Collector generate resources.
• Meteorite Spawn Rate: Change the frequency of meteorite clusters in the overworld.
• Flight Toggle: Enable or disable the creative flight granted by the Godly Armor set.
