Overview#
Digimobs is a massive expansion mod that brings the world of Digimon into Minecraft. It introduces hundreds of unique creatures, a deep stat-based growth system, and complex evolution mechanics that mirror the various anime series and games. Players can tame Digimon, battle wild monsters, explore digital biomes, and utilize advanced technology like Digivices and DigiBanks. The mod supports two visual styles: high-definition 3D models and a classic 'Dot Mode' featuring 2D pixel art sprites.
Getting Started#
To begin your journey, you must obtain a Digivice. Upon entering a new world, you will typically receive a 'Story Mode' item or a prompt to start your adventure.
Choosing a Partner
When you first activate the mod's story, you are presented with two options:
- Direct Choice: Manually select your first Digimon from a list of classic starters (e.g., Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon).
- Personality Quiz: Answer a series of questions to have a partner chosen for you based on your traits.
The Radial Menu
While holding a Digivice, press the . (period) key (default) to open the Radial Menu. This menu allows you to:
- Select and command your Digimon.
- Set behaviors: Follow, Stay, Wander, or Attack.
- Access the Digimon's inventory and stats screen.
