Overview#
Electroblob's Wizardry: Twilight Forest Spell Pack is the definitive expansion for wizards seeking to harness the ancient and mysterious magic of the Twilight Forest. This mod bridges the gap between Electroblob's Wizardry and The Twilight Forest, introducing a vast array of spells themed after the dimension's iconic bosses and creatures.
Unlike standard spell packs, this mod is deeply integrated into the progression of the Twilight Forest. Spell books and scrolls are not found in the Overworld; instead, they are hidden within the chests of Hedge Mazes, Lich Towers, and Aurora Palaces. To master this magic, a wizard must brave the dangers of the forest and face its legendary guardians.
Mobs#
The mod introduces a new magical adversary that challenges even experienced wizards.
Druid Mage
The Druid Mage is a specialized variant of the standard wizard, found exclusively in the Twilight Forest. They are most commonly encountered lurking in the basements of Druid Huts, guarding their arcane secrets.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Health | 40 (20 Hearts) |
| Behavior | Aggressive; casts Twilight-themed spells |
| Spawn Location | Druid Hut Basements, occasionally in the wild |
| Primary Drops | Twilight Spell Books, Twilight Scrolls, Magic Crystals |
| Rare Drops | One of the 12 Unique Artifacts |
Druid Mages are the only source for the 12 unique artifacts added by this mod. They utilize a variety of spells including Venom Shot and Hex, making them dangerous in close quarters.

World Generation & Loot#
Twilight Forest magic is naturally integrated into the dimension's existing structures. You will not find these spells in Overworld dungeons.
| Structure | Potential Loot |
|---|---|
| Hedge Maze | Novice Spell Books, Scrolls, Magic Crystals |
| Hollow Hills | Apprentice Spell Books, Twilight Wands |
| Lich Tower | Necromancy Spell Books, Lich Sceptre Fragments |
| Labyrinth | Earth Spell Books, Minoshroom's Axe |
| Hydra Lair | Fire Spell Books, Hydra Heart |
| Dark Tower | Advanced Sorcery Spell Books, Carminite Reactors |
| Aurora Palace | Ice Spell Books, Snow Queen's Crown |
| Troll Caves | Master Spell Books, Rare Artifacts |
Additionally, the mod adds Twilight Bookshelves made from Twilight Forest wood variants (Towerwood, Canopy, Twilight Oak), which can be used to decorate a wizard's library and store Twilight Spell Books.
Mechanics#
Portal Integration
The mod adds the Twilight Catalyst spell, which allows a wizard to open the Twilight Forest portal using magic instead of throwing a diamond into a water pool. This spell requires a high level of Sorcery to cast.
Progression
Progressing through the Twilight Forest bosses unlocks higher tiers of magic. For example, Master-tier spells like Snow Queen's Blizzard will only appear in loot tables once the player has reached the Aurora Palace. This ensures that the wizard's power grows alongside their exploration of the dimension.
Configuration#
The mod can be configured via the tfspellpack.cfg file. Key options include:
- Loot Injection: Enable or disable the injection of Twilight spells into standard TF chests.
- Druid Mage Spawn Rate: Adjust how frequently Druid Mages appear in the world.
- Spell HUD Skins: Choose between 3 different Twilight-themed HUD skins for the spell selection wheel.
- Artifact Rarity: Modify the drop chance of the 12 unique artifacts from Druid Mages.
