Binabago ng Tactical Shield Overhaul Mod ang shield system ng Minecraft. Sa halip na i-block ang 100% ng damage, binabawasan na ngayon ng mga shield ang damage base sa isang customizable na percentage. Bukod dito, makakakuha ka rin ng passive protection sa pamamagitan ng paghawak ng shield sa iyong offhand, kahit hindi ka aktibong nagba-block.
