Giant Boss Data Pack (1.20.6) brings a massive challenge to the Minecraft world with a giant enemy “Giant” – that has been underutilized before. Designed to enhance the combat experience, from appearing suddenly to fighting bosses with special abilities.

Features:

  • “Giants” randomly replace zombies when certain conditions are met (e.g. above Y60), creating a sense of surprise and adding difficulty to the survival environment.
  • Rewards for defeating a Giant: mostly rotten meat and apples, but there is a chance of a golden apple and even an enchanted golden apple – providing an incentive to find and fight the boss.
  • There is a command to summon a Giant manually: for example /execute as @e[type=minecraft:zombie,limit=1,sort=nearest] run function giant:giant.
