No Mob Spawning on Trees Mod (1.12.2, 1.11.2) – Make Any Biome Safe or Deadly
No Mob Spawning on Trees Mod stops hostile mobs from spawning on top of trees. This means you won’t have Creepers unexpectedly dropping on your head anymore. It’s very useful if you play with other mods that add giant trees, creating dark spots where monsters can appear. Beyond just trees, this mod also gives you powerful tools to control exactly how, where, and when any mob spawns in your world.

Features:
- Stops mobs from spawning on wood logs and mushroom blocks by default.
- Lets you create custom rules to control mob spawning in great detail.
- Base your rules on many conditions, including mob name, biome, dimension, light level, or even the phase of the moon.
- Add new creatures to the spawn lists or override the default settings.
- Adjust the maximum number of mobs that can be in an area at one time.
- Increase the overall mob spawning rate for a more challenging experience.
Configuration:
All settings for this mod are managed in a single configuration file. You can add your own rules to change how spawning works. For example, you can:
- Make Ghasts appear in desert biomes by adding a rule.
- Prevent hostile mobs from spawning in specific biomes, turning them into safe zones.
Screenshots:
