The period when Among Us suddenly rose to fame on the internet will forever be etched in my memory. From the abundance of imposter memes to the peculiar mix of internet and real-life personalities playing the game and the early days of the pandemic, all contributed to the overnight success of this party game. Just because the red crewmate is the most popular doesn’t mean the other crewmate colors are neglected. I particularly adore how this design manages to capture the rounded, plump look of the in-game characters while being scaled down to Minecraft size.

4. Red Leaf Hat

This skin is a testament to the remarkable creativity of its maker. Waffle_Warrior has managed to make the thick, dark outlines on this red crewmate not conform to the standard Minecraft model, resulting in a truly exceptional design.

5. Steven

To me, there’s nothing cuter than Minecraft skins featuring a character holding an item above their head. Seeing Steve’s wide grin as he holds a sus crewmate aloft like a trophy just makes me feel like all is right in the world.

The blue crewmate has always been my favorite among the colors, and I believe that twiig’s rendition of the blue crewmate could easily become one of my favorite Minecraft skins as well. The addition of a film over the skin to create a washed-out cyan effect is just fantastic.

9. Design

The red crewmate’s design stretching out onto the arms and head of the skin, despite not fitting exactly on the body, has a certain appeal to me that’s hard to put into words. There’s something about the way the design breaks out of the constraints of the skin’s template that gives it a unique and dynamic look. It’s a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of Minecraft skin designers to be able to take a pre-existing character or design and translate it into the game’s limited pixelated format while still making it recognizable and visually interesting.

Among Us is a game that requires players to use their detective skills to uncover the alien imposter among their crewmates. Given the nature of the game, it’s fitting that there would be an edgy detective skin available. Truth be told, this skin might just be my all-time favorite.

I find these Among Us skins with their hypebeast style really amusing. It’s funny how the world of expensive streetwear collides with a game about space aliens trying to blend in with a crew of astronauts. It’s an unexpected pairing, but it works surprisingly well.

This Among Us skin is a perfect example of the imposter, where a crewmate disguises himself as a human being by wearing a wig and clothes. If I had the opportunity, I’d call for an emergency meeting immediately.
