Knight Quest Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Quests, Adventures, Rewards

Knight Quest Mod is a mod that adds over 30 armor sets, each with passive abilities, hostile mobs with unique skills, new weapons, tameable mobs, a boss with 3 phases, and much more. The mod revolves around a block called the Great Chalice, which must be filled with Great Essence (crafted by combining 4 Small Essences obtained from killing monsters).

Features:

Over 30 Unique Armor Sets

The mod adds over 30 unique armor sets from Iron to Netherite tiers, each with distinct designs and features:

• Iron Tier: More durable than standard Iron armor, requires no Filled Goblets to craft, suitable for beginners.
• Diamond Tier: Equivalent to Diamond armor, crafted using Goblets and Iron armor, repairable with Diamonds.
• Special Diamond Tier: Has Diamond-tier stats with unique passive abilities (e.g., Blaze Set grants Fire Resistance, Ocean Set provides Conduit Power and Haste II when underwater).
• Netherite Tier: Equivalent to Netherite armor, requires Netherite to craft and repair.
• Special Netherite Tier: Has Netherite stats with special abilities but lacks knockback resistance or fire protection.

Examples of Armor Abilities:

• Bat: Grants night vision at night.
• Spider: Increases jump height when sneaking.
• Wither: 30% chance to apply Wither effect when shooting arrows.
• Enderman: 30% chance to teleport when hit.
• Pirate: Grants Luck.

New Mobs:

• The One Who Fell: A challenging boss with three phases, requiring careful preparation to summon and defeat. The summoning method is a puzzle, and the first player to solve it will be credited in the mod.
• Gremlin: A rare mob found in Netherwart forests, capable of pushing players.
• Blind Lizzy: A rare mob in Dripstone caves that flees from noisy players but can trade items like diamonds for rewards.
• Armored Ghoul: A zombie-like mob that drops Great Essence and armor.
• Ratman: Has four variants with unique rotational arrow attacks.

Crafting and Items:

Great Chalice: A central block that can be filled with Great Essence to produce:

• Bottle o’ Enchanting (with a Glass Bottle).
• Water Staves (64 with a Water Bucket).
• Lava Staves (16 with a Lava Bucket).
• Filled Goblets (with an Empty Goblet).
• Emits Redstone signals when filled.

Great Essence: A rare item obtained from breaking Spawners or rare drops like Heart of the Sea, used for crafting armor and interacting with the Great Chalice.

Goblet and Filled Goblet: Essential for crafting armor; Filled Goblets can be used four times.

Staves: Utility magical items:

• Water Stave: Functions like a water bucket, can “drown” zombies.
• Air Stave: Dries sponges or removes water, can “dry” Drowned mobs.
• Lava Stave: Functions like a lava bucket, sets mobs on fire.

The mod adds craftable weapons, which are reskins of Netherite swords and axes, maintaining high-tier stats.

Some new mobs can be tamed, enhancing interaction during exploration and combat.

Configuration Options:

The mod offers configuration via gamerules, accessible with commands like /gamerule kq. Options include:

• Enable/disable armor effects (default: enabled).
• Enable/disable mob spawning (default: enabled).
• Adjust Great Essence drop rates (default: 100, recommended 10-30 for balance).
• Adjust Bad Patch spawn rates and mob behaviors.
• Legacy God Stave (available only in Creative mode).

Passive Armor Abilities:

• Shinobi: Grants invisibility when hit.
• Creeper: Reduces explosion damage by 80%.
• Silverfish: Grants Haste II below Y level 50.
• Witch: Provides regeneration when killing a mob.
