Miner Villager Mod adds a new villager that you can find deep inside mineshafts. This special mob offers trades focused on mining to help you on your underground trips. You can get powerful scrolls from him to upgrade a whole new set of pickaxes. A new block called the Emerald Anvil lets you apply these scrolls and give your tools special abilities.

Special Pickaxe Upgrades

You can use scrolls at the Emerald Anvil to give pickaxes new powers. Each pickaxe set has two different upgrades to choose from.

Iron Pickaxes: Upgrade an iron pickaxe into an Explosive Pickaxe to mine with small explosions, or a Magnetic Pickaxe that pulls items towards you.
Amethyst Pickaxes: Create a Lucky Pickaxe that has a chance to drop random blocks when mining amethyst. Or, make an Infection Pickaxe that can turn blocks into amethyst but only has 5 uses.
Emerald Pickaxes: Make a Buff Pickaxe that gives you good effects like Luck. You can also craft a Scan Pickaxe that highlights nearby ores, helping you find them easily.

How to Use:

First, find a Miner Villager. They only appear in mineshafts underground.
Trade with the Miner Villager to level him up. You need to reach level 3 to unlock trades for special scrolls.
To get the new pickaxes in Minecraft 1.20.1+, you must find a regular Toolsmith villager. They may sell one of the three new pickaxe templates.
Use the Emerald Anvil to upgrade your tools. Place a pickaxe from this mod and a scroll into the anvil to combine them. This gives the pickaxe a special ability.
Some empowered pickaxes have new actions. For example, the Infection Pickaxe has a right-click ability that turns blocks into amethyst.
