Default Beta Resource Pack transforms the look of your game to match the old Beta 1.7.3 days. It brings back the classic style for blocks, items, and mobs. Newer items from Beta 1.8 and above get their very first original textures. You can hear the old door and arrow sounds while playing. The pack gives you a huge wave of nostalgia by returning the world to its early roots.

To get the most out of this pack, make sure you turn on the built-in Programmer Art pack in your game settings. You also need OptiFine or a custom entity model mod so the old mob shapes load correctly.

Features:

Classic Blocks: Changes normal chests into full blocks and gives glass panes or iron bars their old shapes.
Retro Sounds: Replaces modern game audio with the original sounds for doors and arrows.
Changes oak boats back to their old models and textures.
Gives zombie villagers their classic look from before the 1.14 village update.
Turns red beds, mob heads, and skulls into flat 2D items in your inventory.
Makes you hold bows like regular items instead of tools.
Updates acacia and jungle doors to their old 3D snapshot versions.
Adds a special crown to pigs if you name them “Technoblade” with a name tag.
