Are you tired of building ski resorts with fake blocky cable cars that require thousands of command blocks and use boring teleport commands? Do you want to impress your friends with a cool mountain base? Look no further! Cable Car Addon (1.20) adds a cable car, an aerial tramway, a ropeway, a cableway, and more. Each cabin can accommodate up to 8 players and comes in 5 different colors: red, blue, green, yellow, and purple. Unlike some Java mods, this mod is easy to set up and works at a realistic speed. Real-life cableways can go up to 10 m/s, while minecarts in Minecraft only go up to 8 m/s.

To use it properly, follow the instructions:

  • Place a minecart on a straight track.

  • Then take an item called “spawn cable car T12” and then place it next to the minecart.

  • It should couple and look something like this:

  • To get inside, right-click / long tap on the minecart on top and you will be riding the cable car.

  • Then you can make a minecart track to wherever you want. as long as a normal minecart can go through and there is space underneath so you won’t get dragged through blocks, you are good to go.
  • Note: this thing won’t rotate around corners so that if the cables are going slightly left or right, it will look balanced, and because aerial trams do not take curves in real life. but you can rotate it with command blocks if you want.
