Chisels & Bits Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) adds several chisels, a wrench and ways to copy designs and store bits. These tools enable you to create new custom decorative blocks and designs to decorate your bases and improve the flexibility of your building style.

Features:

Bit Bag

• Automatically re-stocks and stores bits you pick up and use.
• Holds 63 stacks of bits.
• Each stack stores 512 bits by default.
• Buttons to clear contents and to combine/sort bits.
• Drag a stack to the delete area to remove that stack.
• Can be dyed; dye removable with a water bucket.

Diamond Chisel

• High-tier chisel with 1561 uses.
• Removes bits from blocks in the world.
• Supports multiple chiseling modes.
• Harvests materials requiring a diamond pick.

Golden Chisel

• Low durability with 32 uses.
• Removes bits from blocks in the world.
• Supports multiple chiseling modes.
• Harvests materials requiring a gold pick.

Iron Chisel

• Mid-tier chisel with 250 uses.
• Removes bits from blocks in the world.
• Supports multiple chiseling modes.
• Harvests materials requiring an iron pick.

Stone Chisel

• Basic chisel with 131 uses.
• Removes bits from blocks in the world.
• Supports multiple chiseling modes.
• Harvests materials requiring a stone pick.

Netherite Chisel

• Top durability with 2031 uses.
• Removes bits from blocks in the world.
• Supports multiple chiseling modes.

Single Use Pattern

• Records the chiseling of a block for later placement.
• Created by writing with a quill onto paper.
• Editable in the Modification Table.
• Consumed on use unless sealed.

Multi Use Pattern

• Reusable pattern made by sealing a single-use pattern.
• Cannot be modified after sealing.

Tape Measure

• Provides three measurement modes:
  • Bit Mode – measures at bit precision.
  • Block Mode – measures full blocks.
  • Distance Mode – measures point-to-point distance.
• Useful for accurate project planning.

Magnifying Glass

• Checks whether items or blocks are chiselable.

Quill

• Writes the shape of a chiseled block onto paper to create a pattern.

Sealant

• Seals a pattern to make it multi-use.
• Locked from further editing once sealed.

Unseal

• Removes the seal from a sealed pattern.
• Allows modification again but reduces durability until resealed.

Wrench

• Applies modifications to placed chiseled blocks in-world.
• Provides rotation, mirroring and more via a modification menu.

Bit Storage

• Stores materials and fluids in bit form.
• Converts between buckets and bit-format fluids.
• Supports insertion and extraction via right-clicking.

Chiseled Printer

• Automatically prints sealed patterns using bits from Bit Storage.
• Requires the proper materials supplied in storage.

Modification Table

• Modifies single-use patterns before sealing (rotate, mirror, etc.).
• Offers a live preview with rotation/zoom interaction.
