Convenient Name Tags Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) – Configurable Name Tag Mechanics

Convenient Name Tags Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) lets you rename Name Tags by right clicking them in the air. It makes vanilla Name Tags more handy and configurable.

Features:

• Right-click with a Name Tag in your main hand to open a simple rename screen.
• No Anvil required to rename Name Tags.
• Extra Features
  • Crafting recipe for Name Tags is added.
  • You can rename Villagers and Wandering Traders.
  • Renamed mobs will drop their Name Tag when you:
    • kill them;
    • apply another Name Tag to them;
    • shift-right-click them with Shears.
• Configuration (config/convenientnametags.json5)
  • renameCost – experience levels required to rename a Name Tag.
  • renameCostPerWholeStack – use a constant cost per stack or multiply by stack size.
  • dropNameTagsOnDeath – drop a Name Tag when a named mob is killed.
  • dropNameTagsOnNameChange – drop a Name Tag when renaming a named mob.
  • enableNameTagShearing – allow removing Name Tags with Shears.
  • enableRenameScreen – enable or disable the rename screen feature.
  • enableCraftingRecipe – enable or disable the Name Tag crafting recipe.
  • denyList – list of disallowed words when renaming Name Tags.
