Horde Nights Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) is a mod that adds dangerous, large-scale survival events to your Minecraft world, focused on pressure, preparation, and long-term challenge. The core of the experience is Lunar Events, special nights such as the Blood Moon that occur naturally every 30–45 in-game days, depending on difficulty.

Features:

    • Trigger automatically based on time and difficulty
    • Transform normal nights into high-risk survival scenarios
    • Introduce The Horde, a group of enhanced hostile mobs
  • The Horde
    • Enemies are modified by event type and difficulty
    • Stronger abilities, effects, and behaviors than normal mobs
    • Designed to overwhelm unprepared players

Players who do not want to wait for a natural event can manually start one using a Blood Ritual.

  • Blood Ritual
    • Requires both types of campfires
    • Allows manual summoning of a Lunar Event
    • Incorrect execution may cause unexpected and dangerous effects

The mod also includes its own progression system.

    • 7+ custom advancements included
    • Optional 3+ Super Challenges when integrated with Blaze & Cave’s Advancement Pack

Configuration is handled entirely in-game.

  • Run /function h-nigh:config to open the settings menu
  • Adjust pack difficulty or sync it with world difficulty
  • Change Blood Moon intervals
  • Enable or disable features such as:
    • Cowardice
    • Blood Rituals

Optional Integrations are available to expand gameplay. Only officially supported packs are guaranteed to work correctly.

  • Additional mob variants and effects
  • Improved atmosphere during events
  • Extra challenges and enemy types
  • Automatic behavior control for certain event mechanics
