Drifter Mod gives you fast hoverboards to travel through mysterious time rifts. You meet a character called the Riftwright, who hands you your very first board to start exploring. The mod adds two completely new dimensions filled with strange monsters, hidden buildings, and tough bosses. As you gather rare items, you upgrade your hoverboard to unlock special powers like speed bursts and shields. It brings a fun new way to move around and fight in completely different worlds.

Drifter Mod

Features:

Drifter Hoverboards:

  • Default Drifter: Gives you basic hover movement to start your journey across the dimensions.
  • Mirror Drifter: Pushes nearby enemies away so you have room to breathe during fights.
  • Forgotten Drifter: Shoots you forward with a fast speed boost when you press R.

New Biomes:

  • The Glass Wastes turns a normal desert into a dangerous land made entirely of shiny glass.
  • The Forgotten Forest features giant dead trees and ruined fortresses hiding dark secrets.
  • Generates five unique structures in each new biome for you to find and loot.

Bosses and Enemies:

  • Spawns glass-themed monsters like the Shardling and Shatter Sentinel in the wastes.
  • Adds ghost-like creatures named Mortem and Mori to the dead forest areas.
  • Pits you against Aithrê, a giant glass boss who shoots lasers from his sword.
  • Challenges you to fight Oblitus, the spectral boss of the ruined forest.
  • Rewards you with special Cores when you defeat bosses to craft better hoverboards.

Weapons and Gear:

  • Adds four new guns and different types of ammo to help you fight dimension monsters from far away.

How to Play:

  1. Find the Riftwright’s Home to locate the first Rift and get your starter hoverboard.
  2. Jump into the Rift to travel to the new dimensions.
  3. Search for a Return Rift when you want to go home, because a portal does not spawn behind you.
  4. Bring rare materials back to the Riftwright to upgrade your board and unlock new areas.
