Hundreds of hats and outfits are on offer in Just Cosmetics, an add-on that lets players customize their character without giving up protection. It needs Experimental Features turned on. Each cosmetic gives protection equal to diamond or Netherite armor and can be enchanted the same way, with durability set by rarity and slot.

Many mobs can spawn wearing a hat and drop it when defeated, with reduced durability, and nearly any mob can drop a cosmetic bag in Common, Uncommon, Rare or Epic tiers. Legendary bags drop only from mobs with eighty health or more, and not from the Wither. A Hatter Table handles crafting, unwanted items can be recycled into scraps and Fabric Remnants, and the Wardrobe and Hat Display show off the collection. Seasonal cosmetics appear during Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas events.
