Better World Edit turns the wooden axe into a building assistant for creative mode, replacing precise coordinate entry with interactive selection.

Experimental Features must be enabled because the add-on uses scripting APIs. The first position is set by breaking any block, and the second by breaking another block while crouching, which defines an invisible rectangular prism that stays until redefined. Commands then fill the selection, replace blocks, keep one block while changing the rest, find the center, and generate walls, floors, roofs and hollow or solid boxes. Spheres, ellipsoids and cylinders support custom radii and rotations. Further utilities drain liquids, list container items or block types, move or halt entities, and recolor wool, glass and concrete.
