Mobs ใน Minecraft คือสิ่งมีชีวิตที่เคลื่อนที่ได้ภายในเกม คำว่า mob ย่อมาจาก mobile และมักใช้เรียกสิ่งมีชีวิตต่างๆ เช่น ค้างคาว, ไก่, วัว, ม้า, mooshrooms, แมวป่า, หมู, กระต่าย, แกะ, สโนว์แมน, ปลาหมึก, ชาวบ้าน, blazes, creepers, ender dragons, ghasts, ยักษ์, โครงกระดูก, slimes, แม่มด, wither bosses, ซอมบี้, zombified piglins, แมงมุม และหมาป่า
ในโหมด Creative พวก mobs จะไม่โจมตีคุณ แต่ในโหมด Survival และ Hardcore พวกมันอาจเป็นมิตร, เป็นกลาง หรือดุร้าย มาดูความหมายกัน:
- Passive mobs (สัตว์ที่เป็นมิตร) จะไม่โจมตีคุณเลย
- Hostile mobs (มอนสเตอร์ดุร้าย) จะโจมตีคุณทันทีที่เห็น
- Neutral mobs (สัตว์ที่เป็นกลาง) จะโจมตีก็ต่อเมื่อถูกทำร้ายก่อนเท่านั้น
