Modifications Made to What the Bucket (1.20.4, 1.19.4) This mod fixes an old bug in Minecraft that caused certain types of bucket items to be destroyed when using them as ingredients. The issue was brought to light by an older update. If a Bucket of Water is used as an ingredient, for instance, it will normally transform into an empty Bucket. However, more recent buckets, such as the Bucket of Powder Snow, do not undergo this transformation, and the bucket is destroyed as a result. When this mod is installed, any and all affected vanilla buckets are fixed and will behave as expected when converted into empty Bucket items. If this mod is installed on the server, the bug will be fixed for all players who connect to it, regardless of whether or not those players themselves have this mod installed or even if they use the vanilla client. Generally speaking, this issue does not have any effect on buckets that have been modded. If a modded bucket is affected by this issue, it has nothing to do with this mod, and the author of the affected mod should be informed about the problem by using the issue tracker that was provided by the modded bucket.
