Ancient Trade Routes Mod adds the Paleontologist villager profession for Cobblemon. Instead of traveling thousands of blocks to search for specific fossil Pokemon, you can trade for them right in your local village. The mod introduces the Lab Table workstation block, which can be made with almost any wood type in the game. Paleontologist villagers sell digging tools, machine parts, and base fossils. You can also explore unique research laboratory buildings that naturally generate in different village biomes.

  • Adds the Paleontologist villager profession to help you collect prehistoric Pokemon without endless searching.
  • Introduces the Lab Table workstation block, craftable with various wood types such as oak, cherry, crimson, and apricorn wood.
  • Villagers offer trades for excavation gear like brushes and shovels.
  • Lets you buy essential fossil machine parts to assemble your revival equipment.
  • Provides direct access to base Cobblemon fossils through emerald trades.
  • Spawns custom research laboratory structures in desert, taiga, snowy, and savanna villages.

How to Use:

  1. Craft a Lab Table using wood planks and place it near an unemployed villager.
  2. Wait for the villager to claim the block and become a Paleontologist.
  3. Open the trading menu to inspect their available tools and fossil items.
  4. Trade emeralds to level up the villager and unlock rare machine parts and base fossils.
