Magma Monsters Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Lava Lakes Now Fight Back

Magma Monsters Mod adds dangerous new creatures that spawn in and around lava. These mobs attack with fireballs from a distance and set the ground ablaze wherever they walk, bringing a new challenge to fiery areas in your world.

Features:

• Introduces two types of mobs: the smaller Magma Monster Grunts and the larger Magma Monsters.
• These creatures spawn near lava and can shoot fireballs at their targets.
• As they walk, they leave a trail of fire on the ground.
• When a Magma Monster touches water, it turns into a hardened form made of Obsidian or Stone.
• The hardened versions are slower and have more armor but lose their fireball attack. They can also inflict a slowness effect on players.
• If a hardened monster comes into contact with lava, it will change back to its molten form.
• The items dropped by the mobs are different depending on whether they are in their molten or hardened state.

• Choose whether monsters spawn in the Overworld, the Nether, or blacklist certain dimensions.
• Control the exact height levels where the monsters can appear.
• Adjust the spawn chance for monsters in both the Overworld and the Nether.
• Set the minimum and maximum number of monsters that can spawn in a group.
• Enable or disable the ability for monsters to set blocks on fire as they walk.
• Customize mob stats like health and attack damage.
