Gamma Utils Mod is a fully configurable and client-side gamma utility mod designed to enhance visibility in dark environments. With this mod, players can effortlessly adjust the gamma value in-game to illuminate nights and caves. It offers a straightforward solution for overcoming the challenges of navigating in low-light conditions. By allowing players to increase the gamma value beyond the limitations of the in-the game brightness setting.

Features:

• This mod is a fully configurable client-side Gamma/Brightness utility that makes it much easier to see in the dark. It allows you to increase gamma far beyond the in-game brightness settings – turning night into day and lighting up caves completely, similar to Fullbright/Gammabright for Fabric.
• Press G – Toggle between 100% and 1500% Gamma.
• Press H – Toggle client-side Night Vision on or off. Works better with shaders than gamma.
• Fully adjustable – All settings can be customized in the configuration file or Mod Menu.
• Smooth Transition: Makes the brightness change smoother when toggling gamma.
• Status Effects: Adds visual effects to indicate when gamma is outside normal values.
• Custom Keybindings: All keybindings can be changed in Minecraft’s default settings.

• Toggle Gamma: /gamma toggle – Toggle between default and configured gamma values.
• Increase Gamma: /gamma increase <value> – Increase gamma by a set or custom percentage.
• Decrease Gamma: /gamma decrease <value> – Decrease gamma by a set or custom percentage.
• Set Gamma: /gamma set <value> – Set gamma to a specific percentage.
• Max Gamma: /gamma max – Set gamma to the configured maximum limit.
• Min Gamma: /gamma min – Set gamma to the configured minimum limit.
• Toggle Night Vision: /gamma nightvision – Toggle Night Vision on or off.

Configuration Options:

• Default Gamma: 100%
• Toggled Gamma: 1500%
• Update Toggle Value: Remember the last used non-default value.
• Smooth Transition: Enable for softer lighting changes.
• Transition Speed: 4500 (gamma % per second).
• Show Status Effect: Display “Low Gamma” or “High Gamma” when outside normal range.
• Limit Check: Enforce minimum and maximum gamma limits.
• Min Gamma Limit: -750%
• Max Gamma Limit: 1500%
• Gamma Step: 10% per adjustment.
• Show Gamma Message: Display message when gamma changes.
• Reset on Close: Return gamma to default when closing Minecraft.
