SpongeSucc Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) – Lava Absorbing Sponges

By looting an ocean monument, you can obtain sponges that can be used to absorb water. These sponges can be used to clear large water filled areas with ease. But there is no such item in the game that will allow you to clear lava. SpongeSucc Mod is here with the solution. This is a new type of sponge, called lava sponges, that can absorb lava. You can craft a lava sponge using the recipe given below. This sponge can then be placed in lava filled areas to absorb the lava. This will convert the lava sponge into a hot lava sponge, which can then be placed on top of an ice block to cool. Then you can reheat the cooled sponge by placing them in the Nether or by heating them in a furnace. Once done, they are ready to be used again.
