Slabbed Mod (26.2, 1.21.1) – Build and Decorate on Slabs Without Floating Gaps

Slabbed Mod lets you place blocks, torches, and furniture directly on top of slabs without them floating in the air. In normal Minecraft, putting a lantern or a chest on a half-block looks weird because the item hovers above it. This mod fixes that problem so objects sit perfectly on the actual surface of the slab. You can even stack blocks on top of those lowered items to build unique structures. It makes slabs act like real, solid floors for all your decorations.

Features:

• Flush Placement: Torches, lanterns, signs, fences, walls, chests, and crafting tables sit exactly at slab height instead of floating.
• Locked Positions: The mod remembers exactly where you place a block, so it stays put even if you break blocks next to it.
• Lets you stack blocks naturally on top of slab-supported items to build downward or upward.
• Changes the block outline so your crosshair points to the exact right spot when you look at a lowered item.
• Makes slabs much easier to use for decorating your base without weird gaps.

Terrain Slabs Compatibility

• Works perfectly with the optional Countered’s Terrain Slabs mod.
• Lets short grass, ferns, and tall grass grow right on terrain slabs.
• Combines normal slabs and terrain slabs into a single lowered surface for building.

Current Limits

• Redstone dust might act a little strange when traveling up and down lowered steps.
• Doors, carpets, banners, and beds might still float in some deep block arrangements.
• Blocks from other big mods with custom shapes might not line up perfectly right away.

How to Use:

1. Hold a placeable item like a torch, lantern, or chest in your hand.
2. Point your crosshair directly at the top surface of a slab.
3. Right-click to place the item, and watch it sit perfectly flat on the slab without floating.
