World of Stone Mod transforms your underground world into realistic geological layers. It adds over 1,800 new blocks across 24 different types of stone. As you dig down, you find distinct rock layers like igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary stones instead of just plain vanilla stone. The mod also fills caves with hundreds of new stalactites and stalagmites made from almost any material in the game. Every new stone type comes with a full set of building blocks, giving you endless options for your next base.

• Replaces plain underground stone with 24 realistic rock types like marble, limestone, and gabbro.
• Gives you a full building set for every new rock, including stairs, slabs, walls, bricks, and pillars.
• Adds over 260 types of stalactites and stalagmites to decorate your caves.
• Lets you find stalactites made from unusual blocks like wood, wool, glass, and even slime.
• Changes the look of ores to match the exact type of stone they spawn inside.
• Adds special ore variants for the Nether, the End, and even ores trapped inside obsidian.
• Makes surface rocks grow moss or gather snow automatically depending on the biome temperature.
• Updates the Mason villager so they buy and sell the new stone blocks.

Configuration:

• NOISE: sets the world generation to use 3D layered strata (this is the recommended setting).
• BLOB: changes the stone generation to work like normal vanilla ore veins.
• CHUNK: makes each chunk have one main type of stone.
• mimicBlocks: a list where you can add any block so it can turn into a stalactite shape.
