Tiered Shields Data Pack expands your defense options by adding new shield tiers to the game. You can now craft protective gear out of copper, gold, diamond, and netherite alongside the standard iron version. Each tier offers unique durability, damage reduction percentages, and repair materials to fit your survival progress. This data pack also adjusts how shields absorb incoming hits so combat feels balanced as you face tougher threats.

Shield Tiers:

• Golden Shield: Has 112 durability, blocks 1 damage plus 40% of total damage, blocks instantly with zero delay, and repairs with gold ingots.
• Copper Shield: Has 176 durability, blocks 1 damage plus 40% of total damage, and repairs with copper ingots.
• Iron Shield: Has 240 durability, blocks 2 damage plus 60% of total damage, and repairs with iron ingots.
• Diamond Shield: Has 528 durability, blocks 3 damage plus 80% of total damage, and repairs with diamonds.
• Netherite Shield: Has 592 durability, blocks 4 damage plus 90% of total damage, survives in lava, crafts directly in a crafting table, and repairs with netherite ingots.

How to Use:

1. Gather six wooden planks and one ingot or gem of your chosen material tier.
2. Open a crafting table and place the material in the top center slot surrounded by planks in a standard shield pattern.
3. Place the shield in your off-hand slot or main hand to block enemy strikes.
4. Combine damaged shields with their matching base material in an anvil to restore durability.
