Age of Steam Mod (1.21.1) – Gears, Axles, and Crankshafts

Age of Steam Mod brings a new way to use machines. It doesn’t use wires or usual power systems like FE or RF. Instead, everything works with moving parts, such as gears, axles, and crankshafts. These parts carry mechanical energy to run machines. The mod also features a system that checks the pressure on each part-if it’s too high, the parts can break.

• Works with mechanical energy instead of electrical power or wires.
• Real-time physics engine for calculating movement and stress.
• Parts can break if overstressed.
• Includes basic components for mechanical setups:
  • Motor/generator (converts FE to mechanical power).
  • Hand generator for manual power.
  • Wooden axles to transfer rotation.
  • Linear gearbox with 4:9 gear ratio.
  • T-junction gearbox with 1:1 gear ratio.
  • Distribution gearbox (4-sided, 1:1 ratio).
  • Clutch for controlling movement.
  • Small and large crankshafts for rotating systems.
