The DarkStarter Mod (1.20.5, 1.20.1) adds new features to the game, and one of those new features is that players will receive a support pack the very first time they enter the world. Because new players frequently have no idea what to do after entering the game, and because they are frequently killed by monsters on the first night of the day, this can have a negative impact on new players. It was only natural for them to be killed by monsters given that they did not know what to do and did not have any weapons with which to defend themselves! Use the DarkStarter Mod, however, if you want to have more support items and support packages waiting for you when you first enter the world. When you first log into the game, you will find a chest with some apples, bread, a stone sword, and a torch. You will also receive some leather boots. You can position the chest wherever you like and then open it to retrieve the items inside. After you have taken what you need from the chest, you have the option of either picking it up or destroying it. If you make Modpacks, you can use them to create starter packs, changing not only the messages but also the items that players can receive!
