Does It Tick? Mod is designed to significantly improve server performance by controlling which entities need to tick based on player proximity. The core idea is simple: if an entity, such as a sheep, is far away and doesn’t impact the player’s gameplay, it won’t “tick” or update.

  • Disables entity ticking for entities far from players.
  • Supports chunk claiming to maintain entity ticking where necessary.
  • Configurable whitelist for essential entities.
  • Integration with FTB Chunks and Open Parties and Claims.
