This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft Dune Armor Trim with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.

In Minecraft, Dune Armor Trim is new item that was introduced in Minecraft 1.20. It is used to visually customize your armor using a Smithing Table and there are 16 different variations of armor trim in the game. Dune Armor Trim is an item that you can not make with a crafting table or furnace. Instead, you need to find and gather this item in the game.

Let’s explore how to add Dune Armor Trim to your inventory.

How to get Dune Armor Trim in Survival Mode

You can add Dune Armor Trim to your inventory in Survival mode from a Pyramid. So, let’s get started!

1. Find a Pyramid

First, you need to find a Pyramid in Minecraft. A Pyramid is a structure that spawns naturally in the game. It looks like a temple made out of sandstone and is only found in the Desert biome.

Here is a picture of what a Pyramid looks like:

TIP: Try using the /locate command to quickly find a Pyramid!

2. Go to the Secret Area

Next, go inside the pyramid where you will find a pattern of colored terracotta on the floor. Break the block of blue terracotta in the center of the design.

Beneath the blue terracotta, you will find a long tunnel that takes you to a secret area of the pyramid.

Go down this tunnel to the bottom, but dodge the stone pressure plate in the center. This pressure plate will set off 9 blocks of TNT.

3. Open the Chests

At the bottom, you will find 4 chests filled with loot. Open each of these chests and look for Dune Armor Trim. There is a good chance that you will find at least one. You can use Dune Armor Trim to visually customize your armor using a Smithing Table.

Here is an example of a chest that contains Dune Armor Trim:

If you don’t find Dune Armor Trim in any of the 4 chests, look for another Pyramid and try again.

Congratulations, you’ve now learned how to add Dune Armor Trim to your inventory.
