Durability Tooltip Mod (1.20.4, 1.19.4) adds a new method for players to inspect the durability of items and armors through a comprehensive number system. In the original game, the durability of a piece of tool is often described with a green line under it, and slowly, this green line goes shorter and changes to red to indicate a broken item. However, many players have been overestimating their tools’ durability even if it is already red and tried to push for that last hit or that last interaction. Unfortunately, many cases have led to a broken tool, even worse if that tool was well-enchanted and beloved by its owner. With the Durability Tooltip, players will be given a piece of unequivocal information on these tools as the durability is now determined by number rather than a vague demonstration of the red line. Players will now be aware of even the exact moment their tools will be broken. For example, if it says 1/100 then your tools probably have a single swing left inside them.
