Giacomo’s Foundry Mod (1.20.4, 1.20.1) – Recover Ingots From Loot

Giacomo’s Foundry Mod adds a special block that lets you recycle old items. You can use the Foundry to melt down tools and armor to get back some of the materials they were made from.

Features:

• Adds a new Foundry block for recycling your unwanted items.
• Works on any item built with materials that can be smelted, like iron or gold.
• Recovers the valuable materials from items while burning away non-recyclable parts like sticks.
• Be careful, as smelting items that contain fuel can cause a fire.
• Items that have gunpowder in them may explode if you try to recycle them in the Foundry.
• You can create your own custom recycling recipes by editing the mod’s configuration file.

Configuration:

You can customize all the recycling recipes by editing the server configuration file. This lets you decide what materials you get back from each item.

The file is located at:

.minecraft/saves/<your world>/serverconfig/giacomos_foundry-server.toml

If you delete this file, a new one with default values will be created automatically.
