Glass Shards Mod (1.12.1, 1.11.2) – Reclaim Glass From Shards
Glass Shards Mod makes glass blocks and panes drop glass shards when broken. Instead of getting nothing, you can now collect the broken pieces. You can smelt these shards in a furnace to get your glass back, making it possible to turn glass panes back into full blocks. This mod also lets you dye the shards, remove their color, and even craft a simple glass sword.

Features:
- Get glass shards when you break glass blocks or panes.
- Smelt the shards in a furnace to turn them back into a full glass block.
- Stained glass drops shards of the same color.
- Use any dye to color clear glass shards.
- Remove the color from a stained shard using gunpowder.
- Craft a glass sword that has the same attack damage as an iron sword but breaks quickly.
- The chance for shards to drop is configurable.
- Supports glass from other mods like Chisel, MineFactory Reloaded, Tinkers Construct, and EnderIO through configuration.
How to Use:
- Break any glass block or pane. There is a chance it will drop glass shards.
- To get a glass block, place the shards in a furnace and smelt them.
- You can craft a glass sword using the shards.
- To change a shard’s color, combine it with a dye in a crafting grid.
- To make a colored shard clear again, combine it with gunpowder.
