Harder Monster Boats Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) is a mod that introduces a mechanic altering the behavior of monsters regarding boats. By default, creatures like Endermen can easily become trapped in boats, preventing them from teleporting and making them easier to capture. This mod addresses that limitation, allowing certain monsters to avoid entering boats, exit them if attacked, or even destroy them.

With this mod installed, players can configure which monsters interact with boats in various ways. For example, they can determine which creatures will voluntarily enter a boat, which ones will exit upon taking damage, and which have the ability to break them. Additionally, although passive animals and creatures can still board boats, players can make them disembark by hitting them, providing more precise control over these interactions.

By default, zombie villagers and Vexes will continue to enter boats, whereas most other monsters will avoid them or exit when attacked. The mod is configurable through the file hardermonsterboats-common.toml, allowing players to tailor the experience to their preferences.
