In Minecraft, boats are widely used to transport mobs from one point to the other. But the process is a hassle and is often a headache. Getting the mobs into the boat is a torturous process that requires several attempts until success. Once the transportation is over, getting them out of the boat is another headache, as you have to make sure to hit the boat accurately to destroy it without hurting the mob inside. Harder Monster Boats Mod (1.20.6, 1.20.1) makes the process much more harder, by adding a few game mechanics that make it harder to deal with monsters. This mod is for those who feel like the vanilla boat behavior is not bad enough. With this mod installed, mobs like endermen that are trapped inside a boat will be able to escape by breaking the boat themselves. Furthermore, mobs inside a boat will be ejected out of the boat if they are hit.

  • Customizable Monster Behavior: One of the standout features of the mod is the ability to control the behavior of various monsters in relation to boats. Players have the power to determine which monsters will willingly enter boats, which will exit when damaged, and which have the capability to break boats.
  • Selective Creature Interaction: The mod maintains a clear distinction between creatures, animals, and monsters. While creatures and animals can still enter boats, players can use punches to make them leave or break the boat entirely, granting players greater control over the situation.
  • Default Settings for Specific Monsters: The mod has predefined settings, such as Zombie Villagers and Vexes still getting into boats by default. This adds a level of authenticity to the game by preserving certain behaviors while altering others.
