Inline 4 Cylinder Piston Engine V2 Schematic (1.21.x) – Compact Buildable Mechanical Engine Design
Inline 4 Cylinder Piston Engine V2 Schematic gives you a smaller, buildable motor for your mechanical projects. This design runs at lower speeds and turning power but offers a fun, hands-on building process. You can paste a fully built version in Creative mode or put it together piece by piece in Survival mode.

Features:
- Compact Size: Takes up less space than older engine models, fitting cleanly into a 9 by 12 by 15 block area.
- Creative Ready: Includes a fully put-together version that you can spawn instantly if you play in Creative mode.
- Requires exactly 190 blocks to build the entire machine from scratch.
- Runs with lower turning force and speed, making it good for simple moving setups.
- Lets you adjust the timing of the moving parts to match exactly what you need.
Schematic Specs:
How to Use:
- Connect the loose pistons to the nearby winches using a rope connector.
- Put together all the swivel bearings, making sure to include the ones on the piston inside the cylinder.
- Use the winches to slowly pull each piston into its cylinder one at a time.
- Break any ice blocks that get in the way, then put them back once the piston sits in the right spot.
- Disconnect the ropes and take away the winches once the pistons sit securely inside.
- Break any leftover string blocks, as they only help put the machine together.
- Tune the timing of the engine to make it run properly for your project.
How to Assemble:
Connect the pistons that aren't in their cylinders via rope connector to the winches nearest their connectors. (see figures 2 and 3 for rope positioning).
Next, assemble all swivel bearings, including those on the piston inside its cylinder.
One by one, use the winches to pull the pistons into their cylinders. it is recommended that you temporarily remove ice blocks that interfere with this, and it can take a few tries. after you get a piston into its cylinder (see figure 5 for ideal positioning), you should replace any blocks removed, and disconnect the rope. You can then remove the winches and the rope connector if you so choose.
After the pistons are in their cylinders, it should function. you can optionally remove any/all string, as it is only used in the assembly process.
You may find that the timing needs tuning, depending on your use case.
